This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Karl Melvin collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://toxicescape.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Karl Melvin.

Who we are
Karl Melvin was created to provide psychotherapy and counselling services, training materials and courses to help individuals overcome personal difficulties.

We control this site from our office in the Republic of Ireland. We do not represent that materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Persons who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

How information is collected
We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.

Information is collected by selecting the appropriate opt-in box when singing up for free training, our newsletter or our courses and events. We collect User name and email address. We will not hold any further information than this. User consent will allow us to send emails with our regular blog posts, information on our products, services, sales and events.

We will never intentionally disclose any personal identification information about the User as an individual user, to any third party.

The User have the right to contact us and ask to know what information is being held, and for it to be deleted. If the User wish to be removed from any email or other list, they can contact us at karl@toxicescape.com.

If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.

Where your information is stored
The Users details are actively held and processed through the email marketing and sales platform AWeber – a private company based in the USA. AWeber are fully compliant with European Data protection laws and here is a link to their Privacy Policy. When reading it, please remember that the ‘You’ AWeber is referring to is Karl Melvin as he is their client.

Cookies
When the User uses our Site, we or our authorized technology services provider (Site Ground – https://www.siteground.com/) may also collect certain technical and routing information from you to facilitate your use of the Site and its services. We use this information to administer the Site and to understand and measure traffic patterns on the Site so that we know which areas of our sites are favorites of our users, which areas need improvement, and what technologies are being used so that we may continually improve our sites. This information is collected in aggregate form, without identifying you or any user individually. We may use this aggregate, non-identifying statistical data for statistical analysis, marketing, or similar promotional purposes.
