New Live Online Workshop
Professionals, such as counsellors, therapists, and social workers, have an essential role to play in supporting clients who are dealing with complex issues and estrangement from family members.
As an introduction to this diverse topic, I have created the workshop “The 8 Essentials of Family Estrangement”, which draws from my clinical experience and the existing literature to offer a whistle stop tour of the key considerations and challenges of working with estranged adults. Some of the goals of the workshop include:
Provide clarity on what exactly Family Estrangement is and why it happens.
Establish the layered and complex impact an estrangement can have.
Discuss the practical ways professionals can support estranged adults.
The event is happening on Wednesday, 30th October from 8pm to 10pm (Irish/UK time) and offers 2 CPD points. The real gold in these presentations is the group interactions and opportunity to share different scenarios and insights.
Below is some of the feedback from the last time I ran this workshop and click the link for more details and to secure your place. And if you do not work with estrangement but want to attend to learn for yourself or someone else you know, you are more than welcome.
Feel free to share this with anyone who you feel might benefit from it.
